Mona’s journey into bag-making began with the purchase of an embroidery machine, which led to purchasing a bigger machine, thus enabling designs to become more intricate and elaborate. Soon after she began working with other mediums including cork and produced a plethora of bags, wallets, and other designs. Today her bags can be found at various artisan shops, including Laurel Tree Fabric and Fibre, as well as hanging off many a shoulder throughout the world. She can be found working in her studio, or out sharing her expertise with local guilds and delivering workshops to newer artisans.
